CBS MSFE vs Upenn DS

Just finished undergrad, public school, majoring in Stats & Data Science. Got two offers to compare: CBS msfe and Upenn Data Science.

Really wanted to do quant trading while knowing the fact that I got super low chances. Plan B is data science related jobs or qr.

Any advise? And any tips about how to argue for scholarships?

The program is relatively new and it seems to be more academic, PhD level courses. I'm not sure if it leads to quant trading.

Make sense but I feel like only top10 undergrad and Baruch MFE (and maybe CMU mscf) would lead to qt... And obviously I do not have that.

I'm joining the MSFE mainly because of the flexibility of the coursework. I might pursue a PhD afterwards, and this program seems much better suited for continuing my education. However, the reviews show you can still take MFE/MAFN courses for a more industry-oriented curriculum. I think you could tailor the program to trading if you wanted to.
