I am just about to start third year BSc Physics at a Russell Group uni. I have averaged a comfortable first (75%) (4.0 GPA) over the first two years. I can code in Python, C and write basic SQL. I am currently doing a Chemistry Research Internship, during which (among other things) I have coded a Python tool to process data and deconvolve signals within it (which I had to read scientific literature to write, and present to a boss without a programming background once completed). Later in the summer I may have an opportunity to develop some Machine Learning (Principal component analysis) code. Am I in a good position to apply for Quant Research internships in London for summer '26?
