Did physics for undergrad and got two masters offers which I haven't decided yet: Computational Finance at UCL and Financial Statistics at LSE.

I feel like the UCL program places more emphasis on coding and application of computer science in finance, and I believe it also has a work placement? (not sure about the quality of the placement tho) The LSE program might be more mathematical and theoretical, and I don't see many people going into quant after this program.

I might consider looking for quant jobs in the UK or maybe apply to financial engineering programs in the US in the future. Would be great if anyone can provide some insights into these two programs and help me make a decision!

I think maybe LSE is skewed a bit due to culture of the school being heavily oriented towards either academia or "high finance"/IB

Hi, I have also applied for Computational Finance at UCL, when did you receive your offer?
