Feeling similar, I was also quite confident about my prospects at CMU. Seeing class profile of earlier batches, but haven't got an interview invite. Low key hoping that they might also be selecting folks without interview as well but don't know. Keeping my fingers crossed

Has this been done before? Students being admitted to CMU without interviews?

The wait is killing me. Does anyone know the time when they usually send them? I have usually heard back from school at 8pm EST. Maybe to prevent calls from students? Haha

Yupp I have heard similar, , so don't have much hopes. But let's see, only a couple of more days to fully know

I don’t think anyone knows.

In previous years the conversion rate from interviews to admits was high but they have sent a lot of invitations. (At least it seems like it to me)

Unfortunately I did not manage to convert the interview into an offer. So conversion rate is certainly not 100%.

No, I've seen a couple of people rejected or waitlisted

I could see using the link they sent to schedule my interview that they are constantly interviewing. And a few people who got admitted in Round 1 got the interview invitation about a week before the release of the results so don’t panic guys

Interview is all behavioural, you can find the type of questions they ask by searching on this forum in past threads. Math+Statistics undergrad, a few internships in asset management and data science, 3.7 GPA, 170 Quant GRE.
