CMU MSCF CMU MSCF Admission results

Thanks for your wishes, guys. I was travelling, and could not get back earlier. Apologies!

My interview was standard, with Rick asking me:

1) Where did you hear about CMU?
2) Why CMU over others?
3) Career Goals?
4) Any questions for me?

All in all a very conversational and light interview. Rick was very nice the whole time. Good luck for yours!

Admitted folks, get in here.

I got through to the Pittsburgh campus. No mention of a scholarship in the online letter though - did anyone else get a scholarship?

In the previous years, was the information about scholarship revealed along with the admission offer?

The information regarding the merit scholarship was included on the admission letter when I was admitted. Anyways, Congrats to those who were admitted!

Anybody got any interview calls from the MSCF program for the 2nd round so far? Previous years' trackers seems to suggeest they should have been out by this time, the interview calls.

Hello everyone. I have an interview coming up for carnegie mellon's computational finance programme. Can anyone an idea of the type of questions asked in these interviews . thanks

From what I have read on the forums and discussed on the admission chat with the university, it seems to be more of a behavioral interview. However , it would probably be wise to prepare for technical questions based off your resume and application.

alright, got my interview invite from CMU... i am interested to know what type of questions to expect, i'll do a skype interview most likely (although i have a vaca scheduled in PA in the next week so i may interview then)
for all of you there still waiting, the email mentioned that:
1) All interviews will be conducted before March 29
2) Results will be out on April 2

PS: this is round 2 admissions

Got an interview call. In the email it's mentioned that we can get our interviews scheduled before March 29. I am traveling for a week. Can I schedule my interview around March 20? Will the late scheduling of interviews affect my chances of selection or scholarship adversely?
