We’re an early-stage startup building a next-generation AI-driven trading platform focused on systematic and high-frequency strategies. The vision is to create a self-improving trading intelligence that can adapt, learn, and compound edge over time. We’re bootstrapping with proprietary capital and running lean until we establish a live track record.

The Role
We’re looking for a Quantitative Research Lead to join as a Co-Founder. This is not a salaried job. It’s an equity-based role for someone who wants to be part of building a venture from the ground up. You will be responsible for leading quantitative research and shaping the technical roadmap. That means you won’t just write models, you’ll set the agenda for how research, infrastructure, and data need to come together for us to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead research and development of systematic and high-frequency trading strategies
  • Define the research stack: what tools, data, and processes are required for success
  • Build and test signals across microstructure, statistical patterns, and event-driven data
  • Run rigorous backtesting and stress testing, with a focus on robustness and risk controls
  • Translate research into practical, executable strategies in live trading environments
  • Help shape the company’s long-term direction as a core member of the founding team
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field: math, stats, physics, CS, or finance
  • Strong background in systematic trading, statistical modeling, or machine learning applied to markets
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar, with experience handling high-frequency or tick-level data
  • Understanding of risk management, backtesting methodologies, and avoiding overfitting/data leakage
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to operate with limited resources, move fast, and iterate
  • Drive to lead, not just contribute. This role is about ownership and vision as much as execution
