COMPARE Columbia MAFN vs Quant Researcher at HF

Hi, I'm an applicant for Fall 2017 quant programs. Currently I've got an admission from Columbia MAFN and also an offer of quantitative researcher position at a small Singapore-based hedge fund. I don't know which one to choose since I have no personal preference for any of them. If my ultimate goal is to find a stable, well-paid job in HK or mainland China, should I go to MAFN or go to work?

IMO, with a job offer, then go work first. It won't hurt. If you feel the need for a degree sometime later, then come back and apply

if u don't mind a middle office risk job in hk you will get those opportunities with the mafn program. so think of it as a front office vs location issue and decide how important location is to you
