I have received zero news (no acceptance/waitlist/rejection whatsoever) in regards to Columbia MSFE. In all honesty, what does this mean?

Columbia Engineering is so... They can reject us if they prefer other applicants, but instead, they let us to wait until the end of April.

Guys I still haven't heard back from Columbia. When I emailed them, they said to check the portal. The portal still says its under review.

Very disappointing to hear that. I know they have a lot of applications but it seems better communication would benefit.
Applying to a master degree is one of the major decisions in many students life and you want to get a good first impression.
