Community College

Hey community,

What are your thoughts on using community college credit to complete prerequisites (Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra, Statistics, CS, etc.) for MFE or other MS programs?

Would a 2nd B.S. in something quantitative (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, CS) be a better choice rather than attaching prerequisites to an unrelated degree? Thanks

Should be fine and an economical way to fill the standard required courses. Sometimes, you can get some good instructors and high quality education there.

Yea think it's a non-issue. NetMath at UIUC is pretty good as well if you're okay with completing the coursework remotely: NetMath at Illinois.
