Convert GPA from scale 10 to 4

My undergrad univ in India, IT-BHU gives GPA on a scale of 10, where I scored 8.23. The topper's GPA was somewhere around 9.4. Now how do I convert mine to scale 4? If I do a simple unitary, mine comes dwn to 3.29
