Hi guys,
I am interested in applying for MFE/MFIN programs for next year not this upcoming cycle. Most schools look for/require some degree of OOP in C++/Python/Java. I didn't take any class in college that had this and my current job only uses some small degree of OOP in VBA but nothing too serious.
1. Do you guys have classes that you recommend to take to fulfill and prove to Admissions you know how to program
2. How big of a deterrent is my lack of programming background for schools such as UCB/CMU/MIT. Any tips or ideas for me to improve my application because of this?
I am excited to learn more about these new programs and wish everyone the best of luck. Looking forward to hearing everyone's responses on this! Thanks guys!
