Hi everyone in QuantNet

Over the last months I have being considering a career prospective and I would like to hear your insights on this issue.

Firstly let me stress out some "highlights" of my CV:
1. BSc in Applied Mathematics and MSc in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from the Imperial College London. Both with distinction, awarded master thesis
2. Level I CFA Candidate (gave the exam just today, waiting for the results)
3. I have been working as an Advisor at the PwC branch of a small EU country the last 3 years. Mainly activated with the capital adequacy and Risk Management Framework of Banking and Insurance institutions.
4. 800/800 in the GRE Quant Section
5. 2 years military service as a second lieutenant
6. EU and USA passport holder

The economic environment in my country has been deteriorated due to the sovereign debt crisis of Eurozone and unfortunately I cannot provide adequate financial support to my family with my current salary. In addition, due to family constraints I cannot leave from country on a permanent basis.

What I am wondering is if there are opportunities in the quant analyst profession to work on a full-time basis from home via Internet, i.e. :

1. Work in a supervised environment and take training for some period (1-2 years).
2. And then, work from distance from home via Internet (frequent traveling is not a problem) with a discount to my salary.

Any advice/ thoughts will be much appreciated.
