Interested in MFin. Would only do this at a top program. Here are my stats:
- Double major math and philosophy with minor in computer science from top 40
- 3.87 GPA
- Perfect GRE
- 3 years teaching HS math and CS

No internships or work experience in finance to speak of. Would that basically disqualify me from top programs or would I have a chance? Maybe just do a quant PhD first?

Some programs may prefer candidates with relevant job experience but most will admit strong candidates without work experience. Don't sell yourself short. PhD is not something you casually consider. It's a serious time commitment without a guaranteed outcome.
It appears you need to really understand why you want to do MFin and why your current background does not get you the position you target.
