I am going to begin my MFE program this summer and in doing so will be making a huge financial investment. Because of this, I am disturbed by the language that I have heard in the media with regard to financial reform.
With legislators and the public so enthusiastic about really sticking it to the banks and financial institutions I expected to find some discussion on the web about the effect on financial engineering practitioners and recent graduates, but have found nothing. It has been said by many that legislators have gone to far on derivatives. Isn't this relevant or is there really nothing to worry about?
