It is my understanding that FIU will re-launch their Risk Analysis Management and Financial Engineering program. I know that they used to have a program years ago and was wondering if anyone had any information about it or if there is any alumni from the program here in the Forum.
Any information would be very beneficial as I am seriously considering this program and have talked to the faculty there. They have informed me that the program is modeled after NYU's and that in the past they had very strong placement rates.
Once again, any information would be extremely helpful.

First time I heard of FIU program and I don't believe it has ever been mentioned here. The info on their website is outdated and minimal.
It is a good idea to not keep your expectation about employment prospect out of a new program too high. The world is a different place in 2012 than 2006.
