Anyone who applied in early round but still hasn’t received any update (post interview) either positive or negative ?

Yeah, no updates yet. Mailed them, Malcolm replied that the reviews are still in progress..

Does anyone know the reasons behind the delay in announcing the acceptance/rejection/waitlist decisions for Georgia Tech? My daughter applied before October 15th for the early round and, so far, we haven’t heard back from admissions.

She was interviewed just three days after submitting her application and was told that results might be announced before the winter break. However, it’s now well past that time, and we’re still waiting for an update.

Has anyone else experienced this delay, or does anyone have insight into the timeline? Thank you!

My daughter had applied in the early round, did an Interview within a weeks time. But still waiting for the results. She was told during the Interview the results should most probably announced before the winter break if not end of December

There seems to be some delay in response time due to staff shortage. It was mentioned in the master GaTech QCF admission/result thread.
Can you add your daughter profile and timelines on the Tracker? This way, you can easily track and compare your admissions with other applicants.

Strong profile but seems to missing C++ or Python. How is she addressing it?
Any other programs she is applying to?

She is planning to start the Baruch C++ next week. She has good experience in Python . Also planning to apply to NC State & UChicago

I recently got an interview invite which was followed up by a cancellation due to scheduling. Haven't heard back since? Anyone in the same boat?(perhaps someone who followed up with them)

This happened to me in November. About a week later another staff member reached out to schedule a call.

Completed an interview this week. I submitted my application December 30th for round 1. Laura said they hope to have decisions out by mid March. Fingers crossed!

Same, Especially given that they sent an interview invite - canceled it due to scheduling and said a new link would be sent - instead received a rejection email.

Have you already received a rejection email!? Damn! Does GATech send rejection emails even before sending interview invitation emails!?

Yup, idk how it works, seems like I was selected for interviews but rejected before the interview. Strange.

I’d applied in late November and had my interview early December. I see on the the tracker that people who applied after me have gotten their admits/rejects but I haven’t heard anything - which is confusing on its own.
