Hi everyone,

Just came across a trainee program for this division at an international bank. Was hoping if anyone could elaborate on exactly what this division is responsible for, what my prospective role might entail, and how it fits into the big picture of a bank.

I've been looking online to find the answers to these questions, but it hasn't been fruitful. Would appreciate some insight.

Technology is the division responsible for all of the in-house software at the bank (trading systems, pricing engines, and the like). It's the IT division.

Operations is middle/back office.
