Does anyone know of some good websites to read news on the Hedge Funds/Asset Management/Finance industry? Like for instance, what is on the cutting edge of machine learning research that hedge funds are doing, or how private equity is applying data science to source companies.

I guess there's your usual suspects like WSJ, FT, Bloomberg, but I'm hoping to go beyond that.

*up, sorry there was a typo in the title

Private Equity International, Hedgeweek, Pionline, and Institutional Investor are some of the main ones I know of. Not really focused on in depth coverage of techniques being used by managers/investors though; I would imagine in general that this kind of info is hard to come by from the outside looking in.
