Hello all,
I was recently accepted to Johns Hopkins, NYU Poly, Stevens, NCSU, and UNCC for FinMath/Financial Engineering.
Due to financial aid awards, I have narrowed my decision down to UNCC or Johns Hopkins. I received a 50% tuition waiver from Johns Hopkins and after military benefits the program will cost me roughly $22k.
UNCC provided me with a fully funded TA/RA position plus a $12k/year stipend and paid health insurance.
I am sure that most of us know that JHU is higher ranked than UNCC. Is the ranking of JHU worth paying an extra $22k for? Does anyone have opinions on this?
Thanks,
Krohn
