Not sure about GRE, but when I sent my GMAT scores the result of my both attempts were shown in the score report.
I think you can send both the scores, as the schools, in my opinion, only care about the max section-wise percentiles, for example, UCB asks candidates to re-attempt just the Verbal section (skipping every other section) of the GRE/GMAT if their current verbal scores are <70th percentile.
I'm not sure how this works for CMU as I didn't apply there, but I don't think schools really care about the AWA section as it is never displayed on the website like the verbal and quant scores are (screenshot attached). CMU MSCF alumni can help you here.
