Can I apply for both mfe and mmf in U of T?

U of T offers two finance program, one is master of financial economics and one is master of financial mathematics.
Can I apply for both? will their admission decision depend on each other?
I don't think U of T will answer this question....

Yes, the Financial Economics is a joint program of the University of Toronto’s Department of Economics and the Rotman School of Management while the Math Finance program is in another dept at UoT so you should be able to apply to both.
The question is why? They seem to have some small overlap but really are different in nature. You shouldn't expect to have the same career path from both program.
