Hello everyone,

I own an undergrad in business management and finance and been working for a few years in Europe (would like to stay here).
Got interested into more quantitative subjects and, while I am well aware that I cannot aim for crazy quant jobs, I would like to break in the sector and land a quant analyst position in a bank or in a fund.

Looking at my options, I found these two programmes. (St Gallen, ma in quant. economics and finance and Wu Vienna, msc in quantitative finance)
Which one do you think is the best one for my purpose? I would like to get the more "quant" content possible.
Any other suggestions? I have seen many more quant finance programmes around europe but many of them require undergrad in mathematics/engineering/physics and so on.

Thanks!

Hi, heard good things about the WU Vienna programme, it's one of the better ones in the DACH-Region. Staying in Vienna, the Technical University of Vienna has an interesting programme: Technical Mathematics | TU Wien
I'd go for Vienna. Great city, cheaper rent and tuition w.r.t. Switzerland etc.
Both programmes are rather finance-heavy and are lacking in rigorous math, but that's the tradeoff, as both universities are known for their business/econ/ finance departments.
You could also check out the following course: Master of Actuarial and Financial Engineering

Good Luck!

Thanks Gianmarco. I will give it a shot. However I am afraid that these two courses that you linked require a strong mathematics background which I do not possess (at least on paper) since my bachelor is in business. That is why I was looking at more "business/finance oriented schools". The only ones that might accept me. I know it's not ideal but at least I can get some quantitative subjects in my courses.
