Hi everyone

I have recently received two offers: MSc Statistics (Statistical Finance) at Imperial College and MSc Statistics at UCL

I am aware that Imperial College is a target school, however the catch here is that I have secured a full scholarship covering tuition, a stipend and networking events if I attend UCL., whereas at Imperial I would have to pay everything for myself.

I got to ask, which is better in the long run if I want to land a quant role?

Side note, the scholarship funding I managed to secure is actually coming from a Quant firm in London. Not sure if that means anything but it is something I wanted to point out.

A real deal, and Imperial is the Quant targeted school! Go for it!!

How did you make it?
I applied for MSc Statistics, so I think there is less competiton/more spaces for that programme as opposed to MSc maths and finance. A first class honours and a strong motivatioanal letter was all I needed.

I decided to go to UCL on a full scholarship though in the end.
