Hi everyone!
I'm currently aiming to become a buy-side quant analyst or trader, and I’ve heard that some firms require candidates to submit a stock pitch as part of the selection process.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any resources—books, websites, or video content—that can help me learn how to craft a compelling and professional-level stock pitch.
Thank you in advance!

Stock pitch sounds like some old school IB fundamental roles than having any do with quant finance.
In any case, pick a popular stock like TSLA and see the recommendations from analysts covering the stock. Adam Jonas from MS covers TSLA well over the years. See if you can search for his newsletters sent to MS clients. As you can see, it requires extensive knowledge about Tesla business, cashflow, delivery, growth, etc. It is a different type of finance than most of MFE grads doing.

Dear Mr. Andy,
Thank you so much for your valuable advice!
I’ve taken a look at several stock pitch examples through the site you recommended, and they were incredibly helpful in understanding the typical structure and expectations.
As you rightly pointed out, I now have a much clearer understanding of how fundamentally different this type of work is from the responsibilities typically expected in quant roles.
I truly appreciate your insights and guidance.
