Looking for roommate in NYC

I'm recently admitted to NYU and considering renting an apt in the Jersey City or Brooklyn.
I don't want to live alone and it would be a lot more fun if someone could hang out with me on weekends.

Anybody interested ?
Or do you guys have any suggestion of where to live/find a cozy apt ? I have tried Craigslist.
