So my math GPA is around 3.9 (3.80 major + 3.95 in post-bac) and my overall is 3.64. Which GPA will mean more to an admissions committee? How carefully do they inspect your coursework? If your only low grades are in classes like theology and anthropology will they notice this? Really would appreciate any input, I'd love to know how I stack up against all the 3.8+ gpa's I see on the tracker.

I think I read somewhere here that NYU only keeps track of applicants Math GPA, instead of overall cumulative. I'm sure it depends on the school, but I'm gonna bet that no one's gonna really give a crap about your theology course grade...

Dataminer,

I've read that about NYU as well, not sure if other schools are similar. Thanks though
