Just wanted to get an idea about where in the process I am, I completed a technical 24-hour OA, the behavioral Caliper OA, 1-on-1 live coding interview, and now I have 2 back-to-back interviews which are supposed to be more technical. Is this the final round or should I expect more? The first interview was relatively basic DSA and coding, should I expect more of the same for the next interview, or is it going to be more numpy/pandas/data engineering stuff like the OA or something else entirely? Not having a lot of luck finding answers for this particular internship online as it seems pretty niche.

Hi Tommy! The job you applied to sounded very much like a quant researcher intern in a pod. Are you sure it's called a "quant modeling intern"? If the OA you've received is from Amplify Me Trading" then I believe you're interviewing for a pod.

In that case there's absolutely no way to prepare for pod interviews. Each pod comes up with their own questions, and since different pods recruit in different years there's also no point in asking for previous advice from senior students. I'd say good luck and keep your fingers crossed - be smart, kind, and sincere in interviews, and hope for the best :)

I'd also like to point out that the real thing going on here is a pod is recruiting 1 intern over the summer. They seemed to interested in you, so imagine a group of ~5 QRs looking over your resume. I would expect 1-2 more interviews after this technical round that allows you to speak with PMs and really senior PMs. They usually cap it around that, but it also have to do with team structure and what competitors do you have.

Thank you! To be clear, yes, it’s one of the “Quantitative Analyst” internships they have available which seem to all basically be kinds of quant research. This is the job posting
