Hello QuantNet Pals,
I just received the acceptance from Columbia MSOR and need some advice on which one I should go, Notre Dame computational finance or Columbia MSOR? Notre Dame's is a new one and I also heard from the forum that it is not easy to get a job in NYC with MSOR degree. Thank you guys and really appreciate.

It won't be easy to get a job in either case. If NYC is your target, Columbia's NYC location will provide you the best opportunity. Network like crazy! Good luck.

Thank you very much and I can imagine how hard to get placed in NYC. Thank you.

People will randomly advise you without knowing your career goal, where you want to work, what you want to do, your skill set, strength, weakness, etc.
Doctors won't randomly prescribe drugs without some diagnosis.
At the end of the day, ND may turn out to be a better fit but who knows without any relevant info about you.

Thank you Andy, and I just need some general advice.
