NYU Financial Mathematics Career Fair

Hi I will be graduating from the MS Math finance program from USC in May 10.I was considering attending the Financial Math Career Fair which will be held in October in NYC.
This year a lot less companies are there....however I feel that anything can help....
Could anyone whos probably attending the fair or has in the past give their suggestions as to whether I should attend or no...
ALso if I do come what can I do to maximise my chances...
Any comments suggestions will be highly appreciated

There wasn't any discussion about the 2008 NYU Career Fair but people who went to the 2007 one didn't find it helpful.

I found it surprising that students had to pay to get in.
