NYU Mathematics for Quant

Hi everyone, I was recently accepted into NYU CAS, specifically for Mathematics and Computer Science (Early Decision). I'm not sure if NYU is really considered a target school for quant, and I was wondering whether or not it would be worth trying to transfer to a target like CMU or UIUC, etc. Also, if I decide to stay at NYU, should I try to transfer to Stern (or maybe do a double major in math + Stern)? On the one hand, I hear people saying CAS gives better technical skills for quant, but Stern might also have better networking opportunities. If I'm only thinking about which path will put me in the best position to land a quant position (either straight out of undergrad or after my master's), which would be the best option?
