NYU MSMF NYU Mathematics in Finance Admission Results

I sent them an email to request a result before March 8, which is the deadline to reply Chicago University, and they said they will try to accelerate my review process. However, I have not heard from them yet. I have declined Chicago after I received the AD from Columbia. Do you think I should send them another email?
I noticed that NYU started to send out the admissions on March 1 last year. Why is there a delay this year?

I came across the same situation with u. I totally sent them three emails, while they only replied the first and never responded any more. I'm worried whether they are impatient with me > <

The official offer will come in a letter from the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science, but we wanted to let you know informally as quickly as possible. Yeah, I have send them an email to tell them that some program asked for deposit beofore 3.11, yet it seems has little effort.

The 1st round decisions were sent out on Mar 22. When will be the next round? Anyone has idea?

There is no round. They will send out whenever they are done with their evaluation. They also have to wait for the admitted applicants to respond to their offer.

Yep, I am still waiting for ANY response.

Our program is not done with the admission process of Class 2014, only about half of the offers have gone out. Will send out more offers within this week and the following. So be patient if you haven't heard from NYU

Meanwhile the committee is looking into the interview process for Class 2015. Interviewers are likely to be alumni from our program.

Update [04/12/13]:

Every incoming student this year is gonna get a mentor from our class

Update [04/20/13]:

Qualified candidates (but not fully qualified for MSMF) will be redirected to another candidate pool for a new program at Courant - MS in Data Science.

Just saw the director of that program take a bunch of applications from our admin yesterday lol
