How would programs like this be regarded on Wall Street? It looks like you can take Math Fin classes while getting a more generalist degree. There are other masters' programs geared toward Numerical Analysis/Scientific Computation that might be relevant as well.

My friend is in this program, and it is not as reputable as the Mathematics in Finance program at NYU, although you can take several of the same classes to satisfy your degree requirements as you mentioned. If you have relevant professional experiences and a good GPA, you will be an attractive candidate to any financial firm that recruits at NYU with this degree.
