New to the world of finance with a background in applied statistics from NJIT. I've only had research experience and internships in Applied Statistics and Data Science. What program is best for someone who just wants to secure/guarantee a job in finance? Previous polls have indicated NYU has the superior program, but reviews say otherwise, don't know why there's such a big discrepancy.

Both programs have similar courses, maybe NCSU is a bit more rigorous.

If you just want to have a job, historical data indicates that NCSU has pretty good placement stats with placing all their students with a job within 3 months. Keep in mind that many of those jobs may be in risk and located in Charlotte area. This can be a good thing for some people (lower cost of living, more stable and less stress).
Some people put a premium on getting a job in NYC area even it means lesser chance to get a job. Pick what is important to you.
