Other ways to get the C++ requirement for Baruch

Everyone recommends the C++ certification through QuantNet, but it is quite expensive. However, it is the only thing that seems to be consistently recognized as good enough to meet the requirement. Does anyone know if there are any other certifications that are accepted? I haven't seen anything else online. I took a semester of C in college, but I doubt that would fulfill the requirement. Thanks

The semester of C does not fulfill the requirement.

You can get around the course by demonstrating you are very proficient through years of work experience or extensive classwork, but that's about the only way. And to pull it off the rest of your profile should be very good.
