Partial Differential Equations Online Course

Hi,

I am looking to take a course in partial differential equations online for Fall 2014 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I initially found a course to take at Rutgers - Newark in person but the schedule was changed and I will not be able to attend the class. I know Columbia offers a course for the fall through CVN, but was hoping to find a cheaper option since the course is >$5,000. Stanford has an option which seems to only be available in the winter. Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks @MauroMeneses, that course looks very comprehensive, but I am looking to take something through a university so that I can receive a grade. This is to satisfy a prerequisite requirement for an MFE program which I will be attending.

Khan acadamy gives very clear courses on Differential Equations. It will not give you a grade you need for a MFE program but it can give you a jump start for a paid program.

That Khan thing looks like ODE, not PDE... if you're just looking for ODE, here is a solid (graded) online course--

I did their calculus-based probability course about a year ago, and it was extremely solid

My course is focused on the numerical solution of PDEs. A rough guide is you learn convection-diffusion-reaction PDE (BS PDE) and move from there.

I do give a certificate at completion of a student project.
