Hi All,

I am planning to apply for NYU Math Fin (part time) program. I would be great if any one can evaluate my profile and let me know if it is worth applying!!

Here is my profile:

GRE : 800 Q, 550 V
Experience: 3 yrs in research inforamtics and Bioinformatics
Education: MS in CS (GPA: 3.4) - Northern Illinois University
Currently: Working @NYU Medical Center
Math grades: A in high school, undergrad and grad.

Ideal candidates for NYU Math Fin part-time are those already working in finance and want to improve their domain knowledge. Since career services is mostly exclusive to full-time students, the part-timers are supposed to contribute to the program by diversifying the cohort background and bringing relevant experience to the classroom.

You should look at other part-time programs in the city.
