I (3rd year) study math and need a book that would help me to learn relevant mathematics rigorously and to apply it immediately in the financial world. i.e., seeing a financial problem (e.g., pricing an option) from a mathematical perspective and figuring out what math I can do to achieve this, then program idea to check.

This is for independent study.

Such a book does not exist, and for good reasons.

Hull's book is recommended as a starter.

magic wands don't exist in math.

How about a book an introductory book that will teach me the math tools & demonstrate some applications then I learn on my own to apply it.
