Hello Everyone!

I will be attending the MFin program at MIT this upcoming fall and I was wondering what graduates of the program truly feel about the MFin curriculum. I know from a lot of people on this website, there are complaints about the placement, since the mean salary is quite low (roughly $72,000). But the companies that the students are placed with I feel are world class.

For people who are in the program right now, or who have graduated from it, has the program given you what you wanted? How was the job hunt like? What are some things I should take advantage of while I am in the program and what are things I should avoid doing?

Thanks so much in advance!

That may be less true now. I feel mit prefers ft we applicants more now. If you look at the most recent employment report the average ft we is 1.5 years. I doubt that most students have 0 ft we anymore.
