I would be applying in Fall-2014 for admission in Fall 2015 for MMF programs in Canada.
I presently work in the US,but would find it difficult to pursue the programs here due to Visa conflict.
BTech Electrical Engineering 2008 .Univ of Mumbai 2008 GPA 7.8/10.(Considered first class with Distinction,Top 10% in class, class topper around 8.7).
MS Electrical Engineering 2010. North Carolina State University GPA 3.44/4.
Working in US for global electrical company for last 4 years(5 years at the time of application)
For last 2 years I am heavily studying via MOOCs,that has got me interested in the field of finance, have lot of MOOC certificates ( around 20+) from the top Univs mostly finance, econ, math, comp sci.
Would be taking more Math/Fin courses till time of application
Will be appearing for FRM-1 in May 2014,hope to clear it.
I have heard Canadian Univs are very competitive for MMF programs, any ideas/suggestion that may improve my chances would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Profile Update:
Gave FRM 1
Passed P1 actuarial exam
