Hello all,
I would be glad to get some feedback on my profile.
I am applying for admission in Fall 2025

****** UNDERGRADUATE ******
Undergraduate CGPA: 7.51/10
Undergraduate Institution: BITS Pilani, Class of 2020
Undergraduate Major: Computer Science

****** WORK EX ********

Very confident with the programming requirements of the course/job.

****** TEST SCORES ******
GRE: 333/340 (170 Q | 163 V | 4 AWA)
TOEFL iBT: 109/120

***** Road to FE ******
Baruch Pre-MFE Advanced Calculus: passed w distinction
Baruch Pre-MFE Probability: passed w distinction
Quantnet C++ Course: passed w distinction
Baruch Pre-MFE NLA: going on currently

****** LoRs *****
I believe I have decent LoRs to substantiate the SoPs and overall profile.

I am applying to these programs:
Baruch, Princeton, CMU, Columbia, Cornell, UChicago

Q.) Is my program selection too ambitious?
Q.) Does having no direct prior work-ex in the Quant industry impact my chances?

Thank you

Congrats on having your ducks on a row. Sounds like a good profile for quant dev roles. Won't hurt if you add a few more programs to the list. GaTech probably.
The focus would now on making your applications compelling and doing well in the admission interviews.
I would say majority of incoming students have little work experience so I say work experience is never a deal breaker.
