Prostitution and Escorts on Wall Street

I recently watched a financial crisis-based documentary narrated by Matt Damon. Everything was fair and square, but one of the parts that urked me a bit was an interview with a female Escort service manager.

She talked about how all the tippy top people at the bulge bracket firms on Wall Street, as well as "ALL" the big guys on Wall Street in general sought after her services. She even singled out a BB bank (which I will not mention here).

How realistic is this? Considering their outward display of professionalism and talent, is the insider culture of these companies conducive to accepting prostitution?

My memory may not serve me completely correctly as I saw the movie a few months back, but I recall the escort service manager saying that 50% of her clientele was from Wall Street. There were gasps from most of the audience (including my girlfriend sitting next to me), but I got to thinking. It seems to me - I don't have a proper statistic available sadly - that well upwards of 50% of Manhattan's wealthy men who can afford such services (or have access to funds that can afford such services) are from Wall Street. It seemed, again at least to me, that the sensational statistic that she provided merely indicated that the occupations of the wealthy individuals of NYC who use her services are distributed about the same as the occupations of the wealthy individuals of NYC in general - and therefore about the same as the occupations of the wealthy individuals of NYC who don't use her services. In any case, I found the statistics used in that section of the film to be extremely vague and misleading.
