UCB MFE Q&A with Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering Program

Hi Team,

Thanks for doing the QnA!

I've seen a few Berkeley students do a summer internship AND a winter internship.

1. What is tha % of INTERNATIONAL students who do this?
2. What about their summer term courses? Are those done online? Can they drop 1 or 2 courses and do those over another term instead?
Hi,
1) International students are only allowed one US-based internship where they are working full-time and on-site. Students may be given the opportunity to extend their internship, however, the extended internship period will be part-time (20 hours max) only.
2) Students taking a summer internship will continue to take summer courses. There is no option to drop or reduce their course load.
