Quantopian

thanks for the link, I don't have much experience with trading platforms so was wondering if its a good place to start for back testing..

i just started playing with this platform and it's really fun with backtester. Did anyone trade with live money, and if so, is the results as expected with simulated results?

Definitely a good way to learn the basics. If you want to do some really in depth stuff though, download some libraries or write your own and do backtesting on your own computer. Quantopian is limited, but definitely a good resource to begin learning.
