Hi there,
I am holder of a bachelor honours degree in Mathematics + master in Public Administration and presently lecturing Maths in a Further Education college (below degree level) since 10 years. I am from a science background and now want to have a change in career. I want to pursue a career in financial risk management as I can see there are a lot of applied maths - quantitative analysis. Now, to make myself employable, should I go for master degree in FRM or simply register with a professional body(FRM@) by giving their exams where I think one need to have some work experience as well? Please advise.

I don't know anyone who gets the desired job after simply obtaining the FRM, CPA, or whatever certificate is. It is much more complicated than that.
As far as how majority of the MFE people here who got job, it is mainly through their program or network. A few programs are now building FRM materials into their curriculum. Take a look at Temple MFE program for example.

Thanks Andy... I can confer that I need to go through MFE or MFRM in UK.
