Hi,
My team in New York City is looking to hire a technical person to be a developer / investment professional on our structured credit investment team. Our company is a publicly traded, leading alternative asset manager with $90 bn + AUM, and our team manages $4bn + AUM in our structured credit strategies.
This role sits in front office within the investment team, and is heavily involved in the investment process and portfolio management. The candidate will be the dedicated developer on team, and will take charge of our proprietary, best-in-class technology platform. The team interacts externally with clients and investors very closely, so the candidate must have excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Python and/or C++
- Excellent SQL and SQL server management skills
- Good Excel VBA and experience building out excel analytical tools
