Seeking Advice: Personalised routemap to get into quant roles.

Hello Quantnet,

As the title says I require some personalised advise to pivot into the industry.
- I am an International student here in the US
- My undergrad was in Business Adminstration Finance
- I am currently 2 semesters away from finishing my Master's degree in Financial Technology & Analytics (same as MFE) at Stevens Tech.
- Previously my work experience was as a Data Analyst (6 months)
- When it comes to the math, quant knowledge and programming skills that are required. I am self taught(trust me..)
- I have a good set of project in my hand that involve Option Pricing, Using Reinforcement learning to build Portfolios etc..
- I have read all the how to get into quant roles stuff at quantnet.


I would appreciate if you guys have any advise on what steps I can follow from hereon towards getting a quant role.

You should spend more time networking, get some mentors, learn about the industry and basically have a good idea of what you want to do before you graduate.
