I'm new to quantnet.com. I'm not a quant, I'm editor of a magazine and web site called Advanced Trading. (https://www.advancedtrading.com) Our audience is comprised of buy and sell side traders, quants and trading technologists. One of our up and coming issues will be dedicated to quants on Wall Street, and we have written many stories on how Wall Street firms recruit quants.

We also have a job board where Wall Street firms post quantitative and trading postiions:

I'm considering doing a feature on up and coming quants--those graduating from notable programs hoping to enter Wall Street. I figured this would be a good place to start looking for candidates?

I guess notable is pretty subjective--students who are at the top of their class, ambitious, self starters--and most important, they want to land a job with a financial services firm. I'm thinking of including a Quant Corner on our site I do a profile of a different student every few weeks. It would be great exposure for that person because our readership is comprised of traders, quants and technology execs at broker-dealers, hedge funds and traditional buy side firms. It's something new so I am open to suggestions. If you have anyone in mind or if anyone at Quantnet is interested in being profiled, let me know who you are.

I'm a headhunter, and worked with Trader magazine when they were doing a recent piece on women in this line of work.
I suspect "notable" is going to be a mix of interesting backgrounds as well as academic excellence.

I would say up front that there is a window here.
The banks are not all that happy on cooperating with this sort of article, so you'd need to do it before you started.
