I’m currently working in a core accounting role in an IT company in India. I have 1.5 years of work experience. I want to switch from an accounting role to an M&A consulting role and have tried to apply to a lot of companies but got rejected. My current plan is to do a masters program and get a job in consulting. I have recently got admitted to USC for MS finance program. Should I accept my offer as it will help me get into consulting or should I work for some more years and apply for an MBA? Additionally, I would like to know the job perspective for international students graduating from the USC MSF program.

PS: I am CIMA affiliate and will get my membership soon.

Would this degree get you to the M&A role? Do they publish employment status showing graduates getting into these roles? Is USC a target for these roles?
If the answers are No to all, then you should not enroll.
