Hello quant community,
So I am currently a sophomore at UCI and I want to pursue a career as a quant. I plan to switch my major to quantitative economics and minor in computer science. Quantitative econ has a lot of stats classes which I think is very good. Is this a good career path? Would a major in math really benefit me because I still have to take multiple calculus classes for Quantitative Economics. Any advice would help, thank you!
the attachment below has the classes for the quantitative econ major. I also have to take multi variable calculus as well.
