No. I applied for my visa (and got it approved) with the old I-20 I received in April or March. Columbia sent an additional letter explaining the mode of teaching, but the person at the embassy didn't even bother looking at it. I was just asked if classes are online or not and how many I'm planning to take (purely) online.

Could you share with us which country you're applying from?
I'm waiting for the reopening of the embassy too, just trying to understand the picture in other areas.

I'm currently residing in Singapore (not a citizen). The embassy opened on the week of July 20 if I remember correctly.
